This position is in a paper converting company in Green Bay.
Pay Range: $14-$26/hr
Training on 1st shift
Responsible for performing general maintenance and repairs on facility equipment and property structures. All work will be done in compliance with EPA, Hazmat and OSHA safety rules and regulations.
Repairs and maintains, in accordance with diagrams, operation manuals, and manufacturer's specifications, machinery and mechanical equipment: such as engines, motors, pneumatics, hydraulics, conveyor systems, and production machines and equipment, using hand tools, power tools, and precision-measuring and testing instruments. Observes mechanical devices in operation and listens to their sounds to locate causes of trouble.
Analyze test results, machine error messages and information obtained from operators in order to diagnose equipment problems.
Other Duties:

" Perform weekly cleaning and PM's on electric lift truck fleet.
" Clean, lubricate, and adjust parts, equipment, and machinery.
" Disassemble machinery and equipment to remove parts and make repairs.
" Examine parts for defects such as breakage and excessive wear.
" Observe and test the operation of machinery and equipment in order to diagnose malfunctions, using voltmeters and other testing devices.
" Operate newly repaired machinery and equipment to verify the adequacy of repairs.
" Reassemble equipment after completion of inspections, testing, or repairs.
" Repair and maintain the operating condition of industrial production and processing machinery and equipment.
" Repair and replace broken or malfunctioning components of machinery and equipment.
" Study blueprints and manufacturers' manuals to determine correct installation and operation of machinery.
" Cut and weld metal to repair broken metal parts, fabricate new parts, and assemble new equipment.

Experience in paper industry with mechanical maint.
" Prefer 5 years of experience in the paper converting industry or schooling for electrical/mechanical troubleshooting but will train the right candidate.
" MUST work in safe and ethical manner
" Physical strength to lift a minimum of 50 pounds and standing for at least eight hours a day
" Ability to use precision measuring tools
" Speak English fluently
" Understanding of basic math
" Effective written and oral communication skills with crew and superiors
" Pay attention to detail
" Must be alert and aware of surroundings at all times
" Willing to learn new skills and follow directions
" Must pass drug test and background
" Able to work well with minimal supervision
" Respond quickly in the event of an emergency, notify appropriate personnel and follow safety protocols
" Ability to prioritize tasks and follow specified procedures
